Thanks to our European production, this does not come at the expense of our fast lead times.

♻️ Made to order: no overproduction, no stock

What does made to order mean at by MAUT? We do not hold any stock. Every product — wallpaper, carpet, carpet tiles or wall to wall carpet — is only produced after a confirmed order. This way we waste as little material as possible and prevent unnecessary overproduction, one of the biggest sustainability challenges in contract interiors. Thanks to our European production, this does not come at the expense of fast lead times.

Our production process is set up so that orders are combined with each other to produce as efficiently as possible. This way of producing significantly reduces waste, without compromising our fast lead times. This is made possible by our European production, close to home in the EU.

What is GUT certification? GUT focuses on the environmental aspects of carpet and the user-friendliness of the product throughout its entire life cycle. Every year GUT tests hundreds of carpet qualities; qualities that meet the GUT standards are assigned a GUT licence number. Our carpet quality LANO is GUT certified.

🌍 Low CO2 footprint thanks to European production

What we produce, we produce as close to home as possible, in the EU. We only transport your order — nothing else — to limit transport emissions. This keeps our CO2 footprint as low as possible and combines fast lead times with a conscious, sustainable production process.

💧 Eco-friendly inks: VOC-free and water-based

For our production we use VOC-free and biodegradable water-based inks and finishes wherever possible. This is a conscious choice in every wallpaper and carpet production process.
